History: Born and raised in London Renfield became a realestate agent for both wizards and muggles after graduating from Hogwarts. Upon returning from a buisness trip aborad where he came into contact with some of the darker sides of the magical world he descended into madness for several years and was institutionalized. Miraculously overcoming his mental illness with the help of a young doctor working in St. Mungos he later became a teacher, using his own experiences to aid him in his teaching.

Appearance: 5'5" with short reddish brown hair kept neatly parted and slicked back. Renfield wears small square glasses with black frames and is unsettlingly pale, although seemingly in good health. Hes a slight man that always keeps himself well put together and often wears muggle suits and formal wear, finding it better fitting and more professional looking than robes.

Attitude: Buisnesslike but warm, occasionally paranoid bordering on mania. Between long stretches of sanity he sometimes has slight relapses into his manic, ill state that are quickly caught and cured by the headmaster. Otherwise calm, kind, and a bit mousy.

Pets: Renfield is fascinated in particular by insects and arachnids which he keeps a large collection of.
