Our one ferret was sick for like a year with anemia and we finally got him healthy and happy again. And he died a month later of pancreas cancer.

Well the stuped vet told me that my Great Dane, (Draco) had cancer when he was 3 years old (the dog, not the vet) so he wanted me to pay for a bunch of tests... luckally my mother-in-law *gags at her mention* had some vet experiance and found out he just had an infected abcess on his chest- the damn Vet would have had me put my dog to sleep rather then admit that he was wrong....

moral: always get a second opinion.. or a third.. or a forth..
